Transforming lives

At The Pueblo Rescue Mission, wellbeing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps community members reach their goals and fulfill their potential. Learn more about the positive impact we have and join us in bringing about positive change in the community.

Rescuing dogs is looked upon as noble, trendy pursuit. But wouldn't rescuing a man or a woman from a homeless shelter, be in fact, more humane?

Because of our love for and obedience to God, we exist to transform lives through food, shelter, and navigation of services to those experiencing homelessness in Pueblo County.

Our vision is to see our clients are self-sustaining, make conscious contributions to society, while living in stable and sustainable housing.

Our goal is to address the issues that perperuate homelessness: Addiction, Mental Illness and generational poverty. By providing resources and the "Step Back In" program, the homeless community can be empowered to make better decisions, practice better self care and learn valuable tools to promote civic responsibility that will help them sustain housing as it becomes available to them.

Making A Difference

We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources to our community in a safe and secure environment. Our goal is to increase access to stable housing, food, mental health care, dental health, addiction support services and medical services.

When you know better, you do better, right?

Your support helps us as we work towards our goal.
