Prior to the weigh-ins kicking off, a second set of scales was brought on stage and sparked intense discussions from a number of figures.

Biggs’ manager Brendon Smith stated on Monday he just wanted to “ensure everything is done correctly”, which perhaps explains the chaotic scenes that The Courier Mail’s Peter Badel branded as “farcical.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in boxing, where you’ve got two sets of scales.
“You’ve got some concerns around the integrity of the event given they feel they’ve been stitched up over the walk outs.
“I think it’s farcical to have two sets of scales. There’s $4000 scales up there from No Limit and can do the job.
“But the Biggs team want to have quality and accuracy. We can’t have any debate if there's two sets of scales up there.”
Thankfully both fighters made weight comfortably as Tszyu tipped the scales at 69.60kg while Biggs weighed in at 69.46kg.
In the chief support from Newcastle, the always-entertaining Issac Hardman faces Englishman Troy Coleman in a middleweight contest which promises to bring the action.

Speaking after making weight, Tszyu revealed just how important this fight is to him.
“It means everything for me,” Tszyu said.
“It’s where my life and focus has lead up to.”
As for Biggs, he was keen as mustard to finally get in the ring and settle their score.
“The time for talking is done,” Biggs said.
“It’s fight time, so I’m ready.”
Also on the card is Issac Hardman’s bout for the vacant WBC intercontinental middleweight title against Troy Coleman.
Hardman vowed to “punch holes” in the Brit as the two pressed heads in a feisty final face-off.

Undefeated 21-year-old Dylan Biggs (10-0, 7 KOs) also goes through the ropes for the fourth time in 2023 and looks to retain the belt that he earned in July.
The co-main event pits Issac Hardman (14-2, 12 KOs) of Brisbane against Troy Coleman (12-2, 5 KOs) of the UK. The pair battles it out for the vacant WBO Intercontinental middleweight title. The bout is scheduled for 10 rounds.
