Great things are happening at the Mission!
We are working hard to engage our community and we serve our resident population and our homeless population NOT residing at the Mission.
All of our groups, activities and resources are available to homeless individuals regardless of where they are staying in Pueblo. Community meals are available every night from 4:30-5:00 PM.
Our weekly Art,/Music Therapy, CBT Groups, DBT Groups, Faith based studies, AA Meetings, Mindfulness Meditation classes are open to the Pueblo community.
We are becoming famous for our amazing Friday night barbecues. These barbecues are open to anyone hungry needing a meal.
Come on out and join us on most Friday's for a "Walk Up" movie. Weather permitting. We are projecting a movie on the east side wall at the shelter for all to walk up and enjoy. Most movie nights, we pass around the popcorn too! That's the opposite of the drive-in, no cars needed here!
Call the shelter @ (719) 924-8413 to find out what's showing for the Friday night movie

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.”
― Josh Billings
“Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made. ”
― Roger Caras
Gus & Gracie are two of our favorite four legged fixtures at the Mission. You'll find them hanging around some days, snoozing and playing in the Executive Director's office. They also get out and about, walking and greeting residents and the community. Pets are a great source of therapy and Gus & Gracie are always glad to provide kisses and tail wags in exchange for a little attention.
